The rules this deployment runs on.
Access to Trawl is by invitation. An account exists because somebody who already has one added the address; there is no public sign-up, and nobody lets themselves in.
One account belongs to one client. Sign-in details are not to be shared — if a colleague needs Trawl, ask for their address to be added instead.
Collection runs on quotas and vendor accounts paid for by whoever operates this deployment, and they are shared. Fair use means running searches to find advertising partners; it does not mean using Trawl as a general scraper for a platform.
The operator may suspend or withdraw access — for abuse of those quotas, for an arrangement that has ended, or because a platform requires it. Searches already collected stay until they are deleted.
Nothing here is a guarantee of completeness. Every platform shows what it chooses to show, each with its own limits, and a channel missing from Trawl is not a channel that does not exist.
Scores, signals and contact details are read out of public text and are estimates. Check anything you are about to act on: the decision to approach a channel is yours.
What a search collects is yours while the account is open, and the shortlist exports to a file at any time. Deleting a search deletes everything gathered for it, and that cannot be undone.
The service is provided as it is, without warranty. The operator is not liable for a deal that goes badly, for a platform that changes what it publishes, or for time lost to either.
These terms can change. The version in force is the one on this page, and a change that affects how you use Trawl will be said out loud by whoever gave you access.
